This is a memoir rather than a book of poetry. It’s only going to appeal to people fascinated with the milieu of Berryman, Lowell, Schwartz, and Jarrell. Most people are not going to recognize those names, as the circulation on this book reveals, and thus are not going to have any interest in it. It was ill-chosen for Albertville. Let it go.
