Though Stephen Mooney (1915-1969) was born in Alabama, there’s no need to keep this book on the shelves in the face of no interest. (This is not the Stephen Mooney to be found on the internet, a much younger London-based poet.) His poetry was respectably published during his time but had not endured. I would hope his books would be in a state library or that of his home town and universities he taught at, but there’s no need for one of his books to be kept in Albertville if people are ignoring it.
