This 19-page book of poems by the youthful Bancroft is the least accomplished of her works that’s available at this library. The poems generally hover over associations with her grandparents and their farm. Fitting subject matter for the people of Albertville but no one is noticing. Unless the library is consciously collecting her complete works (she is from nearby Birmingham), there is no reason to keep this book.
