Pausing for National Poetry Month

April is National Poetry Month and I’ve committed to some other projects that will keep me away from this one for the remainder of the month. My posts reviewing the poetry books at the Albertville Public Library in Alabama will resume in May.

If you haven’t already cracked open a book of poetry or tried writing a poem yourself this month, I encourage you to do so. Go back to old favorites or try something entirely new. Visit your local library. Pull a few volumes off the shelf and peak inside. It’s fun to get a big anthology and open it randomly to see what you find. Poetry is an adventure. Enjoy!
