Another book about Whitman’s poetry that has had enthusiastic attention and has very yellowed pages. This one is broader in scope and than the others at this library I’ve examined and it’s from a more recent perspective than the other two. Again, I’m going to side with keeping it. Considering the circulation these yellowed books are getting, Whitman must be a popular (or required) subject of study and all these books are needed. I know there are yet more on the shelf, so I still have hope I’ll come across one not yellowed.
