The nearly complete disinterest in this book can probably be explained by two things. First, it has been cataloged in the American poetry section when it’s actually discussing British poets (and so the many names aren’t recognizable–even I was a bit perplexed at first). Second, it has a variation of the word “liberal” in the subtitle, something of a death knell in this conservative area. At this point, the book is also dated. Let it go.
