This is a study guide, like the now popular Cliff Notes series, from 1965. The pages aren’t yellowed, they’re browned. However, people are still picking it up and reading it, and what I read by sampling it here and there I found found engaging. Keep it on the shelf as long as people are checking it out and consider adding another book to the collection that explains the major themes and associations in his most anthologized poems. Something more current will eventually be needed in any case as the old, darkened pages of this book begin to fail.
