The Best American Poetry 1992

As I’ve mentioned in these reviews before, I’m a fan of this series. However, that doesn’t mean I believe libraries should collect every one. Albertville has 1990 and 2000, so there’s no reason to keep this one on the shelves. Yet, I can’t bring myself to give it the ax personally, especially since it was checked out two years ago. It will have to be the call of the librarian. In general, I would say that once a book that highlights so narrow a period of time has gone ten years without attention, then it’s time to let it go.
