The circulation of this book says loads about people’s enduring interest in Eliot’s poetry. It also indicates that it wouldn’t hurt to have a second or third book of his poetry on the shelf, especially since this well-used book is being held together in part by a binder’s version of duct tape. His status as a poet, here and elsewhere, warrant having more than one volume available. I attempted to search the library’s online catalog only to discover that even this volume doesn’t show up on search for T.S. Eliot or Eliot, T.S.  Even more amazing that it has seen regular circulation.
